Jared handles every aspect of real property tax litigation and has successfully negotiated millions of dollars in real estate tax refunds and savings for owners, operators, and developers of real estate.

Prior to joining Goldberg Weprin, Jared represented Ohio and Pennsylvania taxpayers in property tax appeals and advised clients on local tax minimization and project feasibility. Jared’s extensive experience in real estate valuation and appraisal analysis brought him to Ernst & Young‘s New York City office where he provided valuation and auditing services for real estate funds, corporations, banks, and other institutional owners of real estate.

With over 10 years of experience in real estate valuation and taxation, clients turn to Jared for their most pressing issues in tax certiorari due to his vast knowledge of valuation methodology and his command of New York City rules, codes, and assessment policies impacting taxpayers. Jared regularly prepares real estate tax projections for buy-side clients and authors property tax opinion letters for offering plan filings with the New York State Attorney General.

Jared earned his bachelors degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and he is a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago School of Law where he also earned his MBA. Jared is licensed to practice law in the states of New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
