Contact Info
Stewart is a partner in Goldberg Weprin’s Transactional Real Estate Department, and a highly innovative transactional lawyer specializing in complex real estate ventures in the New York City metropolitan area and across the United States. He counsels developers, investors, owners and operators in a range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development deals, preferred equity investments and financings. His diverse experience spans all real estate asset classes from office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily and mix-used properties, cooperatives and condominiums, warehouses and industrial parks, hotels and resort properties.
Stewart is a dynamic negotiator, pairing a practical business approach to complicated transactions with over a decade of prior litigation experience. He strives to overcome even the most complex obstacles and make the impossible possible, as well as to keep the focus of all parties on closing the deal at hand -- a skill his clients have come to value tremendously. He often represents prominent real estate families and institutional investors who have remained long term clients because of his deal making ability at a reasonable cost.
Stewart received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in 1999, his J.D. from Cardozo School of Law in 2003, and a M.S. in Banking and Financial Management from Boston University in 2009.
